The solutions screen allows
you to select points for EBSD analysis on the electron image.
As you click on analysis positions on the image, the diffraction pattern
is collected and solved, the points are numbered and a
pole figure built
up showing the orientations.
Grain boundary misorientations
can be calculated by clicking on points either side of a grain boundary
in the image. The data is all stored for later review. For
each analysed point, lower ranking solutions are also shown. |
