Enhance batch
 

There is a new button, Enhance Batch in the Enhance Map step in the Mapping and Processing navigators. Enhance Batch can be used to enhance all the TopMaps (Crystal orientation maps) in a Project or Sample. The enhanced maps can be saved in the current Project along with the original TopMaps or exported separately to a new Project. This may be useful for enhancing a series of maps before montaging them together.

It is now possible to montage TopMaps.

AutoMate extensions for Crystal

• Defining tilted areas (i.e. where Z varies across the area) is now fully supported.
• Layout of fields on areas is adjusted for tilt-correction when "Tiled (for Montage)" is selected. This enables Montages of tilt-corrected images & TopMaps to be made.
• Pattern acquisition, Hough transform & Solver settings are now stored for each TopMap in the Task.
• Current Pattern acquisition, Hough transform & Solver settings from the main Crystal application can be easily copied into an existing Task in the Edit Task step
