Navigator
INCACrystal uses Navigator to help you
move logically through sequential tasks or just to select a particular
operation. Navigator is the same interface used with the industry standard
INCAEnergy X-ray microanalysis system so there is no learning curve when
starting to use EBSD.
Move the mouse over the figure on the
right to identify the various components in the orientation analysis screen.

Help
Help is always on hand with
INCACrystal. Every screen has bubble help with a direct link to the
comprehensive INCA encyclopaedia to get you straight to the answer you need.

Montage
Combine data from several
areas to form a single crystal orientation map. This allows crystal
orientation data to be collected from large areas.
The crystal orientation map on the right is from polycrystalline silicon and the
area scanned is over 1mm in length. |

Data export
The data produced by INCACrystal can be exported simply by right clicking the
mouse into a variety of formats including, JPG, BMP, TIFF and where appropriate
CSV text files.

Automation
INCACrystal can be incorporated in unattended automation runs which can include
control of the microscope stage and column.
