Other features of the INCA software

Navigator

INCACrystal uses Navigator to help you move logically through sequential tasks or just to select a particular operation. Navigator is the same interface used with the industry standard INCAEnergy X-ray microanalysis system so there is no learning curve when starting to use EBSD.

Move the mouse over the figure on the right to identify the various components in the orientation analysis screen.

Help

Help is always on hand with INCACrystal. Every screen has bubble help with a direct link to the comprehensive INCA encyclopaedia to get you straight to the answer you need.

The crystal orientation map on the right is from polycrystalline silicon and the area scanned is over 1mm in length.

Data export

The data produced by INCACrystal can be exported simply by right clicking the mouse into a variety of formats including, JPG, BMP, TIFF and where appropriate CSV text files.

Automation

INCACrystal can be incorporated in unattended automation runs which can include control of the microscope stage and column.
